Homeschooling is so much more than just reading, writing, and arithmetic. It's teaching our kids how to live, grow, be respectful, and honorable in all that they do. To be the best they can be in what God has called them to be, so they can enjoy life and live it successfully.
Building Community
Homeschooling can be a pretty intimidating thing, but you don't have to do it alone.
In today's world, you can easily find a seasoned homeschooler or homeschooling group to work with and learn from. Combine that with today's technology, the right resources, and you can easily turn a difficult task into quite an amazing adventure for both you and your kids.

Digital Learning Vs Physical Books
Both of these elements have their advantages. However, having used both methods, I have learned that physical books provide something that digital learning can not teach. Creative thinking and handwriting skills.
In the world of digital learning most of their work is multiple
choice so they don't have to put much thought into it. But with physical
books, their brain is more engaged because they are using their eyes, ears, and hands as they work through it.
Too, they're handwriting improves, their ability to focus longer is strengthened because they are more engaged in what they're doing, and their sentence structure becomes like second nature. Not to mention they learn how to follow your instructions. So the bond you have with your child is also strenthened.

When you inspire a love of reading in your kids, you open up a whole new world to them. Everything gets a little easier. School, homeschooling, their faith, everything! Handwriting has almost become a lost art, and I do mean art. Take the time and be intentional in how you form your letters so that your handwriting is actually readable.
